Black masterbatches manufactured by Bihani are based on formulations that incorporate virgin resins and selected high quality carbon blacks produced mainly for plastics thereby imparting controlled particle size distribution and jetness which converts into a finer dispersed material at lower dosage levels. High levels of carbon blacks are finely dispersed in virgin resins using our state-of-art machines based on NST technology. Researched process aids allow ease of use at client end, with lowest in-process influence.
The master batches are suitable for most food and non food applications and range from moulding to extrusion coating films. The material is also available for engineering resin grades. We have hundreds proprietary formulations custom made for various application and processes type. Typical applications include:
- Garbage Bags
- Blown and Extrusion coating Films (thick/ thin)
- Fibers
- Films
- Wovens and Non wovens- bags (PP), masks, etc.
- Rotational Moulding
- Sheet Extrusion
- Tape extrusion
- Variety of thick & thin wall applications for Injection and Blow Molded parts
The material is good for use in, but not limited to, following polymers:
- Polyethylene (LDPE/LLDPE/MDPE/HDPE)
- Polypropylene (PP)
- Polystyrene (GPPS/ HIPS)
- Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS)
- Polycarbonate (PC)
- Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET)
- Polyvinyl Compounds (PVC)
Customized black master batches impart excellent finish and opacity when used with engineering polymers such as
Polybutylene Terephthalate (PBT)
PMMA (Poly-methyl methacrylate)
Polyamide (PA)
POM (Polyoxymethylene) |
